Exciting weeks lie behind Marcel Nölle and Leonard Nolte, the two new managing directors of C.E. Schneckenflügel GmbH. After the successful handover of the company, they now share the management duties and are responsible for different areas in the day-to-day business. Here, the two entrepreneurs look back on their first 100 days in office.
“From ordering materials to shipping the finished product: we have familiarized ourselves with everything at the Edewecht plant – safety shoes and gloves included,” Leonard Nolte tells us. Marcel Nölle confirms: “We took a very close look at everything and listened to what everybody had to say. Now we know how we want to make our auger blades even better for the customers in the future!”
Leonard Nolte and Marcel Nölle have used these first three months to acquaint themselves with their new firm, understanding the processes and structures within and getting to know their staff, suppliers, and patrons. The two managing directors were particularly interested in gaining deep insights into their customers’ requirements. They have also established a connection between the auger flight production and another metal processing unit within their management portfolio: the Wirths & Werres GmbH, a company specializing in the field of custom machine construction from Wuppertal. In an initial meeting of the management staffs, thoughts and synergies were exchanged and possibilities for cooperation are currently being examined.
What will happen next in Edewecht? Marcel Nölle is motivated and feels positive towards the future of C.E. Schneckenflügel GmbH: “We have a lot planned for the next few months. Our clear strategy, the basis of our planning, remains: Fast. Precise. Low Cost. True to the motto of the company’s founder, Rolf Eiting.”
